Testimonials
We are so thrilled to have helped so many people!
Here’s what they’re saying:
I just wanted to reach out and send my deepest gratitude for helping me as I remain in self-isolation.
I’m disabled and at risk.
Getting your donations warmed my heart and words just don’t seem enough.
With deepest gratitude,
Ella
The delivery from Operation Ramzieh yesterday brought tears of joy to one of our clients. She is a single mother with 3 young kids and was worried about getting groceries because she would risk exposing her children. She wants to thank all those involved at making this happen and helping her protect her children.
My senior mother received her box that I ordered for her today. Thank you so much for what you are doing… bless you all and stay safe and healthy!
I didn’t want to ask for help, but I did and both times, I was treated with respect and caring. I am so grateful.
Just realized a package at my front door this morning from operationramzieh.org. Thank you very much, in this time of need it is good to see good people still exist in these uncertain times. I live in Ottawa, and in the last 4 years, we have had 2 floods, 1 tornado and now Covid 19, What is next Locusts! Once again my gratitude. Thanks.
Today, I have received the package. Thank you so much! I am now less worried about the situation of what to eat with my son. My son was so happy about the snacks! Thank you so much for the quick response and thanks to the delivery team. I can give them 5*s. I wish you a safe and peaceful Easter holiday.
Today my 67 year old dad called me in tears because he received the amazing donations from you guys. We were on the phone while he was opening his box and he was thankful for each and everything he saw. It’s been hard getting him groceries and food as I don’t want to put him at risk and every time I try to have groceries delivered there are no time slots available. God bless each and everyone one of you who donated, helped and volunteered their time to ensure families are taken care of during these hard times. We can’t thank you enough!!!
I have gratitude filled tears in my eyes after I receiving a surprise basket of food today, through your organization.
As a housebound adult / non senior with health issues, I often experience being forgotten by the community, our government officials , etc.
Thank you so much for all involved in this service, and for partnering with organizations that remember the many other vulnerable people living alongside the rest of the population.
Deep, deep thanks.-Sunnie
Thank you for helping out the most vulnerable

Thank you so much for delivering the food to D.T. I spoke to her on the phone and she told me to send you her gratitude. She said thank you so much , she was very happy and sounded like she was in tears. Your humanitarian and act of kindness will be blessed by the Lord Almighty. Thank you very much and more power to you. "

I really wanted to do something during the pandemic and nobody was allowing volunteers where I was inquiring.. My friend saw something on tv about "old school" and their initiative ... they needed volunteer drivers... I called them up and went down that afternoon, did a quick intake and meet and greet and then there I was doing deliveries ... Everyone I encountered during my delivery was thankful and gracious... some enquired as to who ordered the food but I didn't have that information .. they appreciated my efforts as well and I was very happy to oblige !
I'm not working full time right now so this feels real good for me to keep me busy and to be a part of such a great initiative.. I'm grateful to @oldschoolyyz for giving me this opportunity...-Volunteer
I ordered an Operation Ramzieh box for my parents and they were absolutely overwhelmed and so thankful for your kindness. I wanted to say thank you so much for everything that you are doing for those in our community who are most vulnerable. We will most definitely be taking my parents and family to your establishment when this pandemic is cleared and over with. So much gratitude to Mr. Abbis for his kind heart and generosity. Your flowers were an added touch which was very appreciated by my dear parents.
-Maggie
Dear Operation Ramzieh thank you very kindly for the delivery of food yesterday. Bless you.
I am permanently disabled and have an immune disorder that makes it very dangerous to go out. I have been stuck at my apt for weeks.
Thank you so much.

I've donated to the Food Bank but there are people who just can't get out. This is an excellent idea.
-Sue
Really appreciate Operation Ramzieh, and the efforts to help the one's who are most vulnerable at this time.

Thank you for organizing such an important need in the community
-Cheryl
Wonderful, thank you for filling the gap where food banks may not be able to help. In doing so, you take pressure off Police and First Responders.
-J.A.
Thanks for making a difference. Even one person helped is a lot. Bless you and your team of volunteers. When you go to bed tonight you can sleep knowing you've done something important to help others.

Wonderful admirable and courageous work in these difficult times

This is a fantastic initiative and I APPLAUD all involved. Food is such a basic need to survive and no one should go hungry during this trying time. Thank you.

Hi,
I wanted to write you to express our gratitude for the delivery of a food donation for our clients. A beautiful gesture of kindness in a tough time.
Stay well,
Tracey and Dalila, House of Hope Halfway House
Just received a wonderful box from you. We want you to know how much we appreciate your help.
AND --Thanks also to your driver. We are grateful to you.
Thanks,
Bev and Gerry
I can’t thank you enough for the box of fresh food you delivered to my door in the midst of this crisis. As a severely immune compromised person I cannot make the trip to the grocery store. Due to the high number of delays from loblaws and metro I cannot get food within a week. I’m running terribly short but due to your fabulous and thoughtful box I can now make myself several days worth of food. I can not thank you enough. I am very pleased to donate to you on your go fund me page. Thank you for all that you do! Without people like you our world would be a terrible place.
Very sincerely,
Melanie
She “was beyond grateful, she was crying on the phone, the flowers is exactly what made her go over the board with tears with the kindness of the organization! What a day!”
- One of our volunteers, about receiving a phone call from someone she delivered to
My dad got his package today. It’s hard being all the way in Kingston not knowing if he has enough food to get him by without having to risk his health/life going grocery shopping himself. Thank you for everything you are doing and for giving me peace of mind

You have no clue how this is a gift, for her and us. We are her only support and she has special need twin boys and we can’t even help her with the 24/7 care of them because I came down with symptoms. Such a rough period. Having this food box reassures us, we know she (and the boys) will be ok for food until we can setup grocery delivery for her.
Thank you sooooo very much! I’d hug you if I could!— Chantal
“I could see from my apartment and saw on the news the cool stuff
you're doing. Keep it up. I have 11 days left so I know how much
people appreciate what you're doing.”— Jason
I had already said to my daughter, based on your initial preventative closing of The Waverley and Moscow Tea Room, that when you open again you will most certainly be getting our business!
Tonight, after watching the news I just want to say that it will not JUST be our business that you will be getting, rather anyone and everyone I know! Ok, I can’t really promise that, BUT I certainly will be bringing in friends and colleagues and sharing what a phenomenal person you are!
The world needs more people like you! I can’t imagine how difficult this is for you on many levels. Thank you!
I hope you are back in full swing very soon!
Until then, please stay safe and remember to take care of yourself too!— Michelle
I would like to thank you all. It's my understanding that you are making up meals, boxing them up, and donating them all over the city. These are strange times we're living in, and we are seeing the downside of humanity and we are also seeing the best in humanity. You, your staff and volunteers are some of the best!! Thank you all for your generosity, kindness and decency!!
I'm a truck driver, so I work long and very odd hours. Having said that, based on what I've seen in recent times, I am going to make sure that I start dining at your restaurant. Anyone that does what you are doing now must put the same kind of consideration and love in to their food and customer service!
Well done, folks... and thank you all so very much!
-Michael
I’m not sure who to contact in regards to thank your Operation, the person who delivered as well as all the volunteers helping your service!
My family and I are so grateful while under quarantine we were delivered our package and wanted to say thank you so much for helping our family!
We appreciate the kindness and compassion!
Thank you so much again.
